About me
I am an experienced Systemic and Family Psychotherapist with an extensive professional background in child, adolescent and adult mental health. My clinical experience allows me to work confidently with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and relational difficulties, including more complex mental health presentations.
What is systemic psychotherapy?
Systemic psychotherapy is for anyone who wants to better understand themselves, their relationships or something that feels difficult in their life. It looks at the whole picture — not just the problem, but your experiences, relationships, family life, the people around you and what matters to you.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, loss, parenting, family difficulties, relationships, self-esteem or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Sometimes there isn't one particular problem — you may just know that something doesn't feel right or that you would like things to be different.
Systemic therapy can be helpful for individuals, couples and families. You don't need to attend therapy with other people for it to be systemic — we can work individually while still thinking about the relationships and experiences that are important in your life.
Therapy gives you space to make sense of what is happening, recognise patterns, understand yourself and others differently, and find practical ways of moving forward that work for you.
